If Losing Weight Was Easy, Everyone Would Do It

Plain and simple…it’s not easy!

Change isn’t easy.

Weight loss isn’t easy.

Personal development isn’t easy.

Building a business isn’t easy.

Climbing a mountain isn’t easy!

But I can tell you on all points above IT IS WORTH IT.

Every mountain looks so much taller from the ground. When you’re looking at whatever obstacle is ahead of you and contemplating tackling it, it always seems so much bigger than it actually is. Why is that? It’s because you’re focusing on the peak, not the steps.

You’re actually trying to find a reason NOT to do it. Change and progress aren’t comfortable and we don’t like being uncomfortable. Our mind and body will try as hard as possible to provide whatever evidence it can to talk us out of it.

So how do we get out of our own way and just do it?

Instead of looking at the whole thing, look at the first step, the first layer, the first small milestone. Focus on that, then do that again, and again, and again, and you will be at the top of that mountain before you know it.

The secret is consistent effort every day, no matter how small.
